Professor of Social Sciences specialising in law.

Łukasz graduated in law from the University of Warsaw. He also obtained his doctorate and post-doctorate at the same university.

An Associate Professor and then University Professor at the University of Warsaw (2011-2022); the University of Silesia in Katowice (from 2018) and the University of Zielona Góra (from 2022).

The Head of the Department of Labour Law and Civil Procedure at the University of Zielona Góra. A visiting professor at Lumière Lyon 2 University (2020).

A member of the Labour Code Codification Commission from 2016 to 2018 and a legal adviser at OIRP Warsaw. He has also sat on editorial boards (Labour Law Monitor) and programme committees of a number of academic journals.

He is a manager of national research grants and a member of international scientific teams. Łukasz has written numerous publications, including articles, book chapters, glosses, commentaries and monographs. He is a co-author (together with Prof. Ludwik Florek) of a very popular textbook on labour law.

By decision of the President of the Republic of Poland of 29 February 2024, dr Łukasz Pisarczyk was awarded the title of Professor of Social Sciences specialising in Law. The monographs Autonomiczne źródła prawa pracy and Reforma zbiorowego prawa pracy were cited in the procedure for awarding this title.
