She specializes in issues related to discrimination and harassment in employment, as well as occupational health and safety in the workplace.

Since 2013, Monika has been supporting clients in the People & Culture area, in particular in the field of labour law and social security, and occupational health and safety.

In particular Monika specialises in:

  • implementation of occupational health and safety management systems,
  • implementation of fire protection projects,
  • development of accident prevention, in particular premedical first aid procedures,
  • supporting diversity in the workplace,
  • countering mobbing and discrimination,
  • workforce restructuring, including collective redundancies,
  • litigation.

Developed an occupational risk assessment sheet for remote workers with practical recommendations for implementing a well-being process for remote workers.

Recently Monika has been involved in the following cases of interest:

  1. audit of the company’s organisational structure with a view to assessing the presence of work in special conditions or of a special nature and recommending reorganisation in the workplace,
  2. analysis of an accident involving outsourcing companies in order to determine the responsible party and to introduce solutions to reduce the risk in the future,
  3. violation of the principle of equal opportunity in terms of the remuneration rules in relation to the remuneration received due to the employee’s exemption from work on account of his/her trade union function.

She has authored numerous articles on labour law and occupational health and safety, including: „Wearable technologies – measures bringing OHS into the 21st century or unnecessary interference with employee’s personal data”, „Improving the quality of OHS management | including age management”, „Preventing psychosocial risks in office work”.

In her spare time, she reads social and popular science articles, cave dives and spends active time with her cats on short treks.
